6 Easy Mocktails to Celebrate New Year’s Eve with Your Kids

It’s New Year’s Eve – and this year we’re making cocktails at home, because let’s face it – that’s how we do now. To go along with the cocktails for the adults, we wanted to share some of our favourite Mocktail recipes, without alcohol, for kids to join in on the fancy fun.

Here are five easy to make cocktails you can craft with the kids to ring in the new year:

Cotton Candy Cloud

  • Cotton Candy
  • Flavoured sparkling water, or soda (or even Fentimans rose lemonade)
  • Flavoured syrup (optional)

Galaxy Mocktail

  • 1 1/2 oz Grenadine
  • 1 1/2 oz Lime simple syrup, Orange & Sweet
  • 3 oz Monin blue curacao syrup
  • 4 oz Lemonade
  • 2 Ice

Disney Star Wars Land ‘Moof Juice’

  • 4 oz. simply orange juice, splash of pineapple juice
  • 2 oz. fruit punch
  • .25 oz chipotle pineapple syrup (Monin)

The ‘Gummy Bear’

  • .5 oz Lime Syrup
  • 1 oz Melon Syrup
  • 3 oz Soda Water
  • .5 oz Lime Juice
  • Gummy Bears

Fancy ‘French 75’ Mocktail

  • 2 cups ice
  • 3 ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 4 dashes lemon or orange bitters
  • 2 (6-8oz) bottles premium tonic water (such as Fever Tree or Q Tonic)
  • 2 rock candy swizzle sticks

Most of these ingredients we have on hand for the adult drinks, as part of our at-home bar, but the other ingredients (like the syrups) can be found in the vast syrups at The Italian Center.
