Get outside of the city this weekend and visit Ardrossan for a double feature, outdoor movie in support of a new playground build at the school. This fundraiser double feature will be showing Lightyear and Minions: The Rise of Gru, on the big screen.

It’s one of the last chances to see an outdoor movie in Edmonton before the cool weather arrives, so you can bet we’ll be there with our four kids in tow, soaking up every last bit of summer magic.

Here’s what you should know before you go:

• Don’t forget the camping chairs and blankets! Fall feels like it’s here, especially after dark! Layer up, bring a camping chair so you’re off of the ground, and dress warmer than you think you need to!

• Arrive early to claim the best spot on the grass, but the movie will start at dusk, aiming for 8pm.

• There will be movie concession snacks available on-site.
