The Mayor is hosting a battle of the bands, secretly to help him find someone that will win the hand of his fair but “distracted” daughter Beauty. Beast hears about the Mayor’s plot and decides to start a band. But… first he has to learn how to play an instrument. Tune your guitars and mohawk your hair as we prep for the rocking party at Jubilations Junior’s Beauty and the Beat! This production written for kids, and a meal designed with kids in mind! Inspired by the iconic book series, explore AGA100 Act 3: Words and Worldmaking, our last anniversary exhibition and discover art’s unique ability to communicate ideas, stories, history and the future through visual and material means. Be inspired to record your own story in watercolour and print or contribute to our collective storyboard and change the outcome. Will it be a triumph or tragedy? YOU decide!
