It’s 90s night as the Elks take on the defending Grey Cup champion Montreal Alouettes. This whole day is 90’s themed, there is a live 90’s cover band at the Elks Fan Park for the tailgate and a 90s themed dance extravaganza at halftime. Show your kids how rad the 90’s were with your parachute pants and neon.

Dragons on the Loose! With Marty Chan
Marty Chan coming to do a reading from his newly released Dragon on the Loose book. With Marty, it is never just a straight reading, there is also the Marty Chan magic tricks. He will also be doing a book signing afterwards. CTC Story Centre will be decorated into a Dragon's Den. We have kite painting, cotton candy, and activities for the families that are attending. This event is free for the public, but registration is necessary.

Free Drop-in Recreational Swim at Emerald Hills Leisure Centre
Drop in for this little-kid friendly swimming event, with the inflatables in the pool at Emerald Hills Leisure Centre. Children that attend lap swim must be able to swim 25 metres and be accompanied in the water by someone 14Y+. We think this pool drop-in is best for the under seven crowd. If you’re looking for more of an adventurous climb, you can check out the inflatables in the pool on Saturday afternoons at Millennium Place.

FREE RCMP BBQ and Open House in Beaumont
Join the Beaumont RCMP for an Open House on June 15, 2024. Connect with the local police force and enjoy family friendly activities on-site, as well as a free BBQ. There are dunk tanks, interactive tours where you can get an inside look at the cell block, and even chances to win a summer fun gift basket.

Drop in Kids Club at the Urban Farm
Edmonton Urban Farm Kids Club runs every Saturday, June 1-September 28, 11-12:30. It is a free, garden-focused drop-in with capacity for 25 young ones. Parents are required to stay on site during the drop-in activity. This week, it’s a fun learning session about compost.

Musical Morning at Winspear Centre
Join Ms. Kate for a musical morning and meet musicians from the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. Together, you’ll sing, laugh, and be amazed by all the things instruments can do with a fun variety of familiar tunes. Designed for ages 1 - 5, come and learn with your child in the upstairs lobby of the Winspear Centre. Bring a pillow or your favourite blankie for floor seating! Tickets are $10/adults, and $5 for children.

Edmonton Riverhawks Retro Dads Day
Treat your dad to a special Father's Day outing at the ballpark! Enjoy dozens of cars from the Edmonton Antique Car Club and the Edmonton Classic Sports Car Club, harmonies from the Grove City Chorus barbershop quartet and the Riverhawk players sporting classic Trappers jerseys! The teal jerseys will be auctioned off with proceeds going back to the community via the Edmonton Riverhawks Community Foundation.
