Candy Cane Lane is a 50+ year old tradition in Edmonton, creating an annual holiday tradition for many families to walk, drive or even take a horse-drawn sleigh down the boulevard to see Edmonton Christmas lights.

The 2024 season opens December 13, 2024 to January 3, 2025, kicking off a holiday season where you can experience the magic of driving through the neighbourhood, spotting your favourite characters, or taking a horse-drawn sleigh ride, a cup of hot cocoa in hand.

Whether you wait for one of the Candy Cane Lane Walk Nights 2023, or you plan to venture down in your vehicle, sipping hot chocolates, listening to Christmas carols on the radio, it’s a beloved Edmonton holiday tradition to explore Candy Cane Lane at Christmas.
