Capturing The-Bright-Side-of-a-Pandemic Memories with Mixtiles

The consensus from a lot of the friends in our community is that they've missed out on a lot during the past year, while we're in the thick of a global pandemic.Us too, I mean - I get the feeling. Summer camps, international travel, holidays with extended family, sports programs; the list goes on.But, we would be amiss if we didn't look at the good side: the road trips, the memories,  the slow down for a lot of families. That's why when Mixtiles reached out to us to give us the option to try Mixtiles in our own home, I knew what we were going to create. We were going to create a small space in our home where we could highlight the travel memories, the road trips, the funny moments, the slow moments, to be displayed, easily and quickly, as a reminder to focus on the bright spots. let's chat about MixtilesFirst, we need to talk about how incredibly simple the products are to apply to the wall. I started by removing the Mixtiles from the package and creating the pattern that I was going to use to place them on the wall. Using a small level to both make sure the Mixtiles were level, but also to measure the distance between each photo, I was able to get twelve gorgeous photographs on the wall in ten minutes. Each Mixtile has an easy to use adhesive strip on the back of the wall. I pulled off the strip, made sure the photograph was level, and went from there. It was so simple - especially since I'm am not what you would consider a DIY EXPERT. Of course, there were a couple of times when I needed to reposition the tiles (the hazards of working on a staircase), and before you ask - yes, they were simple to remove from the wall, reposition. In fact, that's the beauty of Mixtiles - if we want to mix it up (see what I did there?) we can do just that, by removing them from their current spot in our home, and putting the tiles somewhere new.Visit Mixtiles.com to spend a few minutes choosing your favourite memories, finding memories to share of the people you love today (it's so simple!)
