Find fun in downtown Edmonton with a day of family friendly Canada Day activities. The best part? This a fun and free way to celebrate Canada Day in Edmonton.

Canada Day 2023 at ICE District

You won’t have to wake up early to take in the family fun at ICE District. Enjoy a leisurely brunch with the kids at home - the fun at ICE District starts at 2pm and goes through the afternoon and evening to celebrate Canada Day in downtown Edmonton.

  • Celebrate Canada Day at Fan Park with free drop-in street hockey, pickleball and basketball. There are snacks, refreshments and a chance to try a new sport, or take part in a family pick-up game.

  • Celebrate Canada Day at ICE District Plaza with inflatables, face painting, music, photo booths, performances for kids of all ages and a concert with Headliner Tim Hicks at five o’clock.
