Celebrate Family Day at Royal Alberta Museum, with free admission for the whole family. Spend the day together enjoying the museum, exploring the children’s gallery or taking in one of the exhibits. With so many family day events in Edmonton happening downtown, the museum is a great activity to take in before or after some of the other local events.

Here’s what you need to know before you go:

• Tickets can be reserved in advance, but when the advance tickets are sold out, there will be walk up admission available. This depends fully on capacity, and we suggest getting there earlier, or at one of the later sessions, if you’re relying on walk in admission.

• There is no cost to visit the museum.

• The children’s gallery will be open during the family day free admission event at Royal Alberta Museum. This is such a fun place for kids to play of all ages!
