Cineplex Clubhouse is the most Kid-Friendly Way to Watch Movies in Edmonton

Launched in Calgary last year, we’ve finally got one of our own here in Edmonton. Kids can race off the energy before the show starts on a fun, and fast, slide, or play with toys that are provided in the front of the movie theatre.

Here’s what you should know before you go:

  • There are daily movies that are suited for kids (with a G or PG rating). New release movies are played in theatre, with a combination of older, family-friendly movies when new release movies aren’t available.

  • Arrive 30 minutes in advance of the movie. The climbing wall, the gym, and toys to play with are available for thirty minutes prior to the movie starting.

  • Admission to the theatre is $11.85 (children 3-13) and $16.85 (general admission, 14-64), with a senior ticket price of $12.85 (65+).

  • In Edmonton, there is one theatre that currently offers the clubhouse experience; Cineplex Odeon South Common. Located at 1525 99th Street, it’s recommended to buy tickets in a advance to ensure you get a seat.

  • Buy tickets on Tuesday to lower the cost of bringing the kids to the movies, it’s just over $10 to catch a movie in the Clubhouse on Tuesdays.

  • Cineplex is following the REP program. Proof of vaccination or a negative test will be required to visit, and watch a movie in the Clubhouse theatre for guests over the age of 12.

  • Expect a relaxed, movie going experience similar to the child-friendly movies offered through the week with Stars and Strollers. The lights are a little more bright than usual, and sounds a little lower.

Book your tickets, and learn more at www.cineplex.com. When booking, look for the clubhouse symbol when choosing the movie.
