Edmonton Urban Farm is Hosting Free Saturday Kids Club this Summer

 The Edmonton Urban Farm is a 2-acre farm in the heart of Alberta's capital. Established in 2014, the Urban Farm connects people to food and farming within the city limits.

Bring your kids to the farm, no registration required, for Saturdays at the Farm, June 1-September 28,10-4. Everyone is welcome to visit, have a coffee, explore the Urban Farm, pet a bunny, meet a gardener. Always free and always family friendly!

Edmonton Urban Farm Kids Club runs every Saturday, June 1-September 28, 11-12:30. It is a free, garden-focused drop-in with capacity for 25 young ones. We ask parents to stay onsite during Kid’s Club. They are welcome to tag along or to wander on their own! June activities for Kids Club include

  • June 1: Planting our garden 

  • June 8: Fun with natural dyes 

  • June 15: Let's talk about compost 

  • June 22: Crafting a willow trellis 

  • June 29: Make your own nature loom 

Enriched programming will be offered on seven Saturdays throughout the summer which usually include music, some type of free workshop, and animals!

  • June 22 First day of Summer (we’ll have music and hatching chicks!)

  • July 13 Historic Festival and Open Doors Edmonton 2024

  • August 17 Open Farm Days (we’ll have alpacas and more!)

  • September 7 Alberta Culture Days

  • September 28 Last Saturday of the season!
