Free Movies on the Square are Back this Month and Here’s What’s Playing

Movies on the Square is back for 2022 and it’s your chance to get out for a free movie night downtown, with a line-up of movies that you’re actually going to want to watch.

Come to Sir Winston Churchill Square (102A Avenue & 100 Street) to watch a family favourite film. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the fabulous pre-movie entertainment before taking in the blockbuster hit that will be playing on a 3-storey high inflatable screen. Dress up in the theme of the film for a chance to win prizes for best costume.

Here’s what you should know before you visit Movies on the Square, 2022

  • Pre-movie entertainment begins at 6pm. Movies start approximately 15 minutes after sunset.

  • Food and snacks will be available for purchase at on-site food trucks from 6-9pm.
