Starting January 5, Winter City Weekends are back at Churchill Square with Ice Grooves on Friday evenings, Swing ‘n Skate on Sundays and free skate rentals all week long!
Free Skate Rentals at City Hall Ice Rink
Bring your cool moves to City Hall Plaza Ice Grooves! Skate and dance along to live DJs every Friday night from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Kicking off the first weekend, enjoy the incredible beats of Funkie Nickie on Friday, January 5 and DJ Gulzar on Saturday, January 6.
Here’s when you can get free skate rentals at City Hall Ice Rink
Monday — Friday, free rentals from 5:00 — 9:00 PM
Saturday, free rentals from 12:00 — 9:00 PM
Sunday, free rentals from 12:00 — 5:00 PM
Swing & Skate
Swing ‘n Skate is back at City Hall Sundays from 1:00 – 4:00 pm throughout January and February. Show off your best moves to some swing, big band, soca, salsa and more inside Edmonton City Hall. And if you’d rather be outdoors, the music will be broadcast directly outside for ice skaters at City Hall Plaza. Free skate rentals will be provided by EAC Staff.
