Bring your cool moves to City Hall Plaza Ice Grooves! Skate and dance along to live DJs every Friday night from 6:00 to 9:00 pm (beginning on Friday, January 5). Check this page for schedule updates.

Don’t have your own skates? The Edmonton Arts Council will also be providing free skate rentals all week long:

• Monday — Friday, free rentals from 5:00 — 9:00 PM

• Saturday, free rentals from 12:00 — 9:00 PM

• Sunday, free rentals from 12:00 — 5:00 PM

Here’s what you should know before you visit Ice Grooves

• Please note that skate rentals will be available on a first come, first served basis, and that rentals and ice conditions are weather dependent (not available during extreme cold or slushy conditions).

• Bring your own skates and skate trainers if you have them, during busy times! You don’t want to come all this way and find the skates all rented!

• Our favourite place to park is under Stanley Milner Library, and pair this fun adventure with a winter warm up at the Libruary with a cup of hot chocolate, and a play session at Stanley Milner.
