It’s the perfect weekend for a road trip, and Cold Lake Aqua Day is comin’ in hot just in time for a day trip where you’ll spend the day at one of the best beaches in Alberta.

The summer celebration at Kinosoo Beach includes kids games and entertainment, a vendor marketplace, evening fireworks… and of course the annual Cardboard Boat Races! Start your adventure bright and early with a pancake breakfast ($5/person),

Cold Lake Aqua Days featured activities include:

• Glitter tattoos, bounce houses, circus show, giant slip n slide, and watersport rentals (11:00am - 4:00pm)

• Aqua Days Parade (10:00am)

• Cardboard boat races (1:00pm)

• Fireworks (10:00pm)

Kinosoo Beach is our favourite beach in Alberta. Fondly referred to as the ‘Zipline Beach’ by the kids in our squad, it’s one of our must do-trips during the summer season. You can brave the three-hour drive as a day trip, or stay the night at one of the local (and inexpensive) hotels.
