Here are the Best Shows for Kids & Teens at Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival

Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival is here with magic, comedy and storytelling, through ten days of performances that can introduce your children to on-stage theatre. Tickets for the shows range between $10-20, and are an affordable way to introduce children and teens to theatre.

  • Baby Shark and Tails of the Seven Seas
    Designed for children ages 1-10, audience members will participate in a choose your own adventure style program, encountering a variety of friendly beasts along the way such as a kangaroo, elephant, crab, and brown bear.   • Emilio’s A Million Chameleons
    Emilio is bringing his world-famous chameleon circus right to you! But what happens when it all falls apart? A puppet-filled musical spectacular all about letting your inner sparkle shine.

  • Mother Goose on the Loose
    All your favorite Mother Goose characters take to the stage in this wacky, Looney Tunes-style physical comedy. Mother Goose herself (riding in on a very fine gander) will take you on an adventure through her favorite nursery rhymes, in a way you've never seen before.   • Corporate Finch
    It's midnight in St Jacobs, Ontario & two teenagers are breaking into an old factory. Will they make it out alive? Corporate Finch is a critically acclaimed new one-act thriller from award-winning playwright Taylor Marie Graham. 'As moving as it is scary'. We can’t wait to see this late night show with our teens.

  • Costco Heartbreak
    First love, second chances, and shopping in bulk. A storytelling show about childhood crushes, online dates and searching for connection in a grocery store.

  • High School Musical
    What team? WILDCATS! HSM follows Troy, the basketball captain, and Gabriella, a shy brainiac, as they defy the status quo to pursue their secret passion by auditioning for the musical at East High. Through catchy tunes and heartfelt moments, it's a story of love, friendship, and staying true to oneself.

  • Wisteria
    Wisteria is a play that follows the love story of two teenagers, Leksa and Nyssa, as they come face to face with dark realities neither of them expect. Wisteria is told primarily through poetry, love letters and angelic narrative figures set in a whimsical, unearthly environment.
