Blink and you'll miss it! On July 3rd the World's fastest athletes are coming to Edmonton. It's been almost 20 years since Edmonton's hosted a track and field championship and this year, the intimate event will be held at Foote Field where only 3000 people will be able to witness the greatest of the great take the track.

Cheer on the world’s best athletes, cheer on Team Canada and wave those flags through the finish line because we’ve got the sporting event to kick off your summer fun in Edmonton. This is an unmissable opportunity to watch Olympic champions compete in a richly intimate and raucous setting, in the heart of Edmonton.

What to expect at the Warm up to Worlds Invitational

Expect fun, family friendly activities. Some of the family friendly activities will include: Mini Legends relay, food, merchandise and the main event. It’s the best place to picnic in Edmonton next week, as you enjoy local food trucks like the Big Squish and Starvin Marvin’s and watch events like shot, hammer, discus, pole vault and long jump.
