Kids 12 and Under Get Free Admission to Edmonton Outdoor Pools this Summer

Children twelve and under will receive free admission to City of Edmonton outdoor pools this summer.Admission will apply at all facilities. Children aged 12 and under will be free at outdoor pools this summer. City of Edmonton recreation membership holders and Leisure Access Program members will have free access to outdoor pools. While we are still in Stage 2 of the provincial plan, everyone will need to reserve a time on movelearnplay.edmonton.ca to enter outdoor pools and purchase admission.

Where to Swim - What's Open right now?

The following schedule of openings for the week of June 14 to 20 is subject to change depending on the availability of resources, provincial requirements, or inclement weather:
Outdoor Pools and Aquatics
  • Queen Elizabeth Outdoor Pool (June 14)
  • Oliver Outdoor Pool (scheduled for opening June 15)
  • Fred Broadstock Outdoor Pool (scheduled for opening June 19)
  • Open dates for outdoor pools are dependent on weather conditions
  • Kinsmen Aquatic Centre (June 14)

Outdoor swim times will have to be booked in advance, online at https://movelearnplay.edmonton.ca in order to get access to a facility. We're still hoping that our favourite pool (Borden Park) opens up for adventures this summer in Edmonton.
