Kids Can Try ‘Ultimate Frisbee’ in an Edmonton ‘Try It’ Session this Weekend

This weekend, the Edmonton Ultimate Players Association have a try-it day for youth ages 10-17 to come discover Ultimate – a fast-paced, non-contact sport played with a flying disc or ‘frisbee’. It’s a chance to try a new sport in Edmonton (not just a sport for summer!) and learn from the local experts.

On January 28th, at Commonwealth Rec Centre, kids can try the game, and experience the fun, fast paced game for themselves. This is the first of four monthly pick-up games where kids will be given the opportunity to try the sport.

The upcoming dates for the try it days include: February 18, March 18, and April 15th. Youth can register for all four dates to try the sport. These sessions will be opened to ages 10 to 17 years old. There is no previous experience required, everyone is welcome!

Registration is required. Register for the Edmonton Ultimate Frisbee Try-it session, here.
