Family fun doesn't have to break the bank this fall. Until October 12, Kids Get in Free at University of Alberta Botanic Garden. Visit You've got just a few weeks left to visit the garden and experience the magic, and luckily, some incredible fall weather coming up this month to make your visit mild and sunny.
Kids Get in Free at University of Alberta Botanic Garden
Free admission for children is available until the last day of the season, Monday October 12, 2020. While visiting, there are enrichment opportunities, physically-distanced friendly, to engage the youngest guests of the gardens.How long should you plan to spend at the garden? Our visits with the kids usually last a couple of hours, and it's the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the charcuterie picnics, if you're in the mood for a garden picnic.
Safety Measures
- Guests are required to maintain physical distance of 2 metres / 6' from any person or group not belonging to their immediate household.
- Some pathways are one-way or single file - please follow directional signage.
- Some garden areas that are too confined for appropriate distancing have been closed.
- Children must remain close to their parents / guardians at all times.
- Guests can enjoy the outdoor gardens, however, indoor spaces are closed, including showhouses and Welcome Centre / gift shop.
- The Patio Cafe concession is closed for 2020.
- Drinking fountains are closed. Please bring your own water bottle.
- Most benches are available for seating, however, picnic tables are out of service.
- Tram service is closed - there are no golf carts for public.
- Loaner wheelchairs and strollers are not available.
- Masks are not mandatory to enjoy the outdoor facilities, but are required in indoor spaces, such as washrooms in the Aga Khan Garden
