Hit up the Midway
There are three midways hitting the town this weekend, in town at Kingsway Mall at Sustainival, and out of town at Beaumont Days and Devon Days. With a full weekend of festival events, you can find a fun celebration with the kids this weekend.

G O Lawn Fun Pop-up MiniGolf
If you want to try something a little more offbeat this weekend - check out the mini golf course at Lowlands space. This outdoor art themed mini-golf pop-up is pay-what-you-can ($10 suggested donation), and spans over twelve different yards in the neighbourhood for a fun, walking course experience!

Imagine Monet Launches in Edmonton
See the immersive, impressionist artworks of Claude Monet like never before with Imagine Monet: The Immersive Exhibit. Over 200 paintings of his paintings will be showcased at the Edmonton Expo Centre including the series of the “Cathedrals” and the “Water Lilies” from his garden in Giverny.

FREE Recreational Swim at Emerald Hills Leisure Centre with Inflatables
Children that attend lap swim must be able to swim 25 metres and be accompanied in the water by someone 14Y+. This is a free opportunity sponsored by Pasta Pantry, between 2:30 and 8pm.

Plant a Tree - Enjoy some Science
In honor of Edmonton's annual BiodiverCity Challenge, Nature Alberta and Root for Trees are teaming up for an incredible day of tree planting and citizen science on June 11th. Select your time slot: 9:30 am - 12:00 pm, or 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm.

Take Part in a Chalk Art Celebration
Celebrate diversity in our community by writing a message or a drawing on sidewalks at the designated recreation facilities, to express your pride, support and solidarity with all people in our community!

Beach Bash Themed Roller Skate Drop-in
Head out to Ardrossan, grab your roller skates or roller blades, dress-up and come skate along to beachy music on the west rink!

Kids Bike Safety Check Day at Callingwood Farmer’s Market
Kids Bike Safety Check Day is back at the Callingwood Farmers’ Market! Bring your bikes to the farmers’ market on Sunday, June 12th between 10am-3pm for a free tune-up by mechanics from Element Cycling & Multisport. Registration is for kids only as part of a Family consisting of at least one adult parent or guardian accompanying up to six (6) kids, ages 5-11.

Symphony for Kids at Winspear Centre
The sounds of all your favourite animal friends – elephant, swan, kangaroo and more – are paired with classic songs in this fun-filled symphony. Listen for the roar, chirp, cuckoo and hee-haw amongst the musical sounds of the orchestra instruments.

Landmark Cinemas Sunday Kids Day
It’s the perfect time to take the kids to see the start of summer blockbuster: Jurassic World! Landmark Cinemas Kids Day feature a kids ticket and snack pack including popcorn, a drink, and treat for fourteen dollars. Regular admission tickets for morning shows are also discounted.
