Fun, crafts and activities for the whole family in the splendor of the fall garden. Make your own fall-themed crafts together, bake a yummy apple by the Grebe Pond, and enjoy being outside together.

Take an Edmonton Ghost Tour

A ghostly walk through Old Strathcona, where we stop in front of the Strathcona Hotel, the Princess Theatre, the Strathcona High School and many other buildings, houses, and shops that have reported ghosts, hauntings, murders, and mysteries. They are all true stories that come from area residents and business owners. The tours are hosted by a veteran storyteller with 12 years of experience. Held all summer and into the fall-Halloween season. The tours are a great outing for the whole family. The Old Strathcona Ghost Tour is 1 hour long.

Experience the wonder of Elk Island’s night sky. In the heart of the Beaver Hills Dark Sky Preserve, escape the city to gaze upon the countless stars in our galaxy and learn to navigate from one constellation to the next. Campfire and a friendly park interpreter are included.

Fall O Ween U Pick Harvest Fest

Prairie Gardens has over 15 acres of pumpkins planted - of all shape, colour and size imaginable, and wide open spaces - this is a fun and safe family activity! Hayrides, corn mazes, scarecrow making, potato digging and cabbage patch visits are all part of the fun. Back at the Prairie Gardens homestead, there are farm animals, bale mazes, a sunflower maze, the Lost Lemon Gem Mine, and a Pumpkin Corny-val with pumpkin bowling, pumpkin ring toss, bale jumps and more!

Cardio for a Cause

The Marketplace at Callingwood is presenting Cardio for a Cause on Sunday, September 26th at 11:00AM. Cardio for a Cause aims to be a large scale, community fitness event where attendees will take part in an energizing, Zumba class led by a local YMCA instructor. Guests of all ages can expect a vibrant atmosphere, lively music and a great workout all in support of the Edmonton Food Bank!
