U-Pick Haskap Berries just Outside of St. Albert for $5/pound

There's a small farm outside of St. Albert that you should add to your summer bucket list this year: Bokey Blooms Farm. There, you'll find U-pick Haskap berries, in two varieties, that you can pick for only $5/pound.Bokey Blooms Farms was established by Shauna Bokenfohr in 2014.  The orchard is located on the same quarter of land in Sturgeon County, near Morinville, Alberta that her father Jim purchased and cleared. The land has been farmed by her parents Jim and Ruby for over 50 years.  Shauna Bokenfohr is the 5th generation of farmers who immigrated from the family farm in Brenken Germany in 1902 to farm in Canada.  Shauna’s partner Ross Ehalt has joined the farm operation and brings with him a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for a new adventure.  His family also has multi generational ties to farming in Humboldt, Saskatchewan.Visiting Bokey Blooms Farms Visiting Bokey Bloom Farms is a must-do this summer, and it's easy to get to, with plenty of parking and fields that are near the main building, perfect for little kids.
