Catch a Drive in Movie
See a drive in movie this weekend! Family movies are being pretend by Alberta’s Dental Students Association and tickets include the parking spot for the chosen movie, a bag of popcorn, a pizza, 2 drinks and 1 candy bag! It’s a great way to see a winter drive in movie with the kids!

Find Turning Red at the Canadian Tour in Edmonton
The Turning Red Canadian Tour is scheduled to stop in Edmonton on March 11 & 12, just in time for the movie’s release! Follow the hashtag #TurningRedTourCA to find out which Edmonton Landmark she will be hanging out by, and head out (weather depending) to get a photo with your kids soon-to-be favourite new cartoon character.
City of Edmonton Play Rangers
Spend Saturday afternoon at a pop-up playdate at rotating parks, all around the city. The fun afternoon drop-in has leaders to create a fun experience learning new skills, fort building and kicksledding.
Tot Time at Millwoods Town Centre
Every second Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm, we will offer family-friendly events & programs that will focus on having fun, being active & showing creativity. Local businesses that cater to families in the area will be featured. The program will change from month to month.
Visit the World Waterpark for Half-off
Reduced crowds and after-hours access, visit the Waterpark and support a local community league. Tickets are $25/person and include access to the slide and wave pool.
Take an Online Cooking Class

St. Patrick’s Day Craft Playdate
Puddle of Mud Productions is hosting three different holiday themed workshops this winter/spring! These two hour workshops will include games, activities, dress up, dancing, songs and a take home craft in the theme of the day!
FREE Drop-in Skating in Sherwood Park
There are four drop in times this weekend for skating, and stick and puck at one of the four drop-in sessions at Strathcona Olympiette Centre, Moyer Recreation Centre, Glen Allen Recreation Complex, and Ardrossan Recreation Centre.
All Canadian Fun at the Botanical Garden (The Last Weekend!)
It’s the second lasts weekend to explore the Botanical Garden during all-Canadian winter. You can explore the garden in the snow, try kicksledding, try snowshoeing in the garden, try cabane a sucre, take a snowball toss or a hockey shoot, experience the lit-up garden, and enjoy hot chocolate by the fire.
