Baby Boo! at Stony Plain & Parkland Pioneer Museum
All weekend long, you can take a ghostly tour of the museum, do halloween carnival inspired crafts, snap a photo at the photo opportunities, watch a halloween movie and much more.

Experience Dark at Fort Edmonton Park
Dark at Fort Edmonton Park is back for 2022 with three brand new haunts and it’s one of our favourite kid friendly experiences for Halloween in Edmonton. The park turns into a haunted playground with haunts, live DJ, food and drink.

Watch a Halloween Movie in the Pool at Eastglen Leisure Centre
It’s a Friday night event in the pool! You can watch The Addams Family, in the pool, to kick off the Halloween Weekend! That’s right! Swim, float and play, while you watch The Addams Family, in the pool!

Visit the Spooktacular Acreage
The Spooktacular Acreage is back for 2022 and is one of the top, little-kid friendly things to do in Edmonton this Halloween. There are more than 100 inflatables set up through the field for you to walk through, enjoy and kick off Halloween!

Haunted Hunt in Rosenthal
Goblins and ghouls of all ages are invited to show off their Halloween costumes and navigate a course (with a map) to locate spooky flags. Finish the course to receive an extra sweet treat! The course takes approximately 30 minutes and will be run in the field by the Rosenthal Playground. Parental assistance will be required for those under 9 years of age, while those 9 years of age or older may be able to complete the hunt on their own (at the discretion of their parent/guardian). There is just one ticket/registration is needed for each family/group.

Pajama Party in the IMAX
It’s a Pajama Party in the IMAX and you’re not going to want to miss it! Watch Casper, bright and early, to kick off your Halloweekend fun. Guests are encouraged to dress in costume and get in the spirit of the holiday watching everyone’s favourite friendly ghost on the IMAX screen.

Hunt for Pumpkins at Callingwood Marketplace
The Marketplace at Callingwood is hosting a special edition of KIDZONE on Saturday, October 29th from 1:00PM-3:00PM. The first 100 people to complete the scavenger hunt will receive a free pumpkin! Visit our participating retailers to have the Halloween scavenger sheet completed, receive a free goodie and keep a lookout for an Arabian Princess and Space Toy - photo opportunity while you’re walking around celebrating Halloween.

Pop in for a Slime Playdate at Kingsway Mall

Where: Celebration Church
This is a family friendly Halloween event where people decorate their vehicles with a Halloween theme and pass out candies to children and families who “trick-or-treat” through the event. This will be a fun-filled, free event with costumes and lots and lots of candy!

Haunted Family Skate at Ardrossan Rec Centre
Come Skate at Ardrossan Rec Centre for free and take part in a haunted recreational skate for the whole family. It’s a fun way to get out of the house, get some ice time in before you hit the outdoor rinks this winter, and have a spooky skate. Don’t forget your costumes!

Halloween Double Feature Movie + Pizza Night
Wear your costume and join us for a movie and pizza night. Two movies will be shown – stay foe one or both! The first movie, Hotel Transylvania, will start at 4:30pm. Pizza wi be served at 6pm and the second movie, Hocus Pocus (original version) will begin at approximately 6:30pm.
Tickets are $15 for age 3-10 and $20 for 11 and up. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Price includes the movie, pizza, pop/juice and popcorn. Cash bar also available - and don’t forget your blanket to sit on!

Art Class: Decorate Your Own Halloween Bag
Spend your Sunday afternoon decorating your own bag, perfect for trick or treating. You can spend an afternoon of spooky fun at the St. Albert Place Visual Art Studios! We’ll supply everything you need to decorate your very own cloth trick or treat Boo Bag. Children under 7 years old must be accompanied by an adult. The cost for the class is $10, and it’s designed for kids 4+.

Come and explore the Shelley Milner Children's Library on a Sunday morning before it opens to the public and watch the adventure comedy Night at the Museum! Children are encouraged to dress up in their favourite movie character costume or pyjamas. They can bring a stuffed animal to enjoy the movie!
