Visit the Delwood Haunted House, soft open, with the lights on! This is the perfect low-scare for children and families, with very limited actors on set. Delwood Haunted House admission is $5, and on family night it’s buy one, get one free. All donations from the haunted house will benefit Alberta Cross Cancer.

Visit the Spooktacular Acreage
The Spooktacular Acreage returns for 2023 and has a total of fourteen nights to visit the acreage to scare and delight everyone in your family. This fun, Halloween event in Edmonton is an open field with 100+ inflatables and animatronics, making it a wonderful Halloween display for the whole family.

Gateway to the Stars at Elk Island National Park
Gateway to the Stars is an introductory stargazing program where park interpreters guide participants using star charts to find some of the major constellations visible in the night sky in the fall. We then use the Big Dipper as our Gateway to the Stars to explore other constellations visible to the human eye and along the way tell some of the cultural stories about the constellations. Campfire and a friendly park interpreter are included. Telescopes are not used in this program.

The Edmonton How To Festival is a chance to learn something new from someone who already knows how to do it. A variety of experts, from professionals to enthusiasts, will share their skills with you. You can learn to write a song, learn to write a compelling story, learn to make risotto, and more.

Take a Haunted Trolley Tour over the High Level Bridge
Take a spooky and historical 1 hour Trolley ride over the Historic and Haunted High Level Bridge and throughout Old Strathcona as the sun sets over Deadmonton.  Hear the horrible history of the area and some of Old Strathcona’s and Edmonton’s most spooky and gruesome ghost stories.  Learn about the ghosts that still wanders around the Arts Barns, the Spanish Flu victims from the UofA, the ghosts from the original construction of the High-level Bridge and many more deadly stories.

Join the fun for a free night of Halloween fun.. treats.. music and games. Join the fun and bring the family to come down to Belmont Sobeys and dress up your vehicle...(if you have one) Open the trunk, and hand out tricks and treats to the little ghouls and goblins going from vehicle to vehicle trick or treating. If you just want to come and join in the fun but not dress up a vehicle you are still more than welcome to do so - the parking lot will be transformed into a trick or treaters dream. Owl Banding at Beaver Hill Observatory
This annual fall migration of owls occurs from September until early November, with October being the peak in their abundance. Species captured include Northern Saw-whet Owls, Long-eared Owls and Boreal Owls. Join our biologists for an evening in the woods to learn about the research being conducted on our feathery friends and hopefully see a live owl up close and personal!*

K3 Field of Screams is back for 2023, for two nights only. This haunted outdoor field of screams is a scary experience for Halloween just outside of Edmonton, in Tofield. Get lost in the field of screams, with actors haunting their way through the corn maze.
