Whoa! We just found $8 (including prescription lenses) for our Tweens with this deal

We’re a couple of weeks into back to school, and the pair of glasses that I bought from the visit to the Optometrist have surprisingly still making their way to school, and home, on the daily.

I know, I’m shocked - I put my over/under at (under) twelve days before they were lost in a middle school hallway, classroom or left at the playground.

That’s why when I happen on this deal, I had to share.

Browsing through the Kits website for new glasses for my husband - he noticed a pair that I sent him was priced at only $8 for the frame, and included the prescription lenses in that price.

ps: if you haven’t taken advantage of the offer previously, you can get your first pair of glasses for FREE.

There are a half-dozen pairs of glasses available, priced at $8 on the website (shipping is $12) meaning that you can get trendy glasses, just in time for the new ones that have been a victim of back to school, for just $20, delivered to your door.

Here’s what you need to know before you shop:

  • You’ll need to the know your prescription, or the prescription for the child that you’re ordering for. When you enter the checkout at KITS, you can either enter the information, or upload a picture of the prescription to website (including the pupillary distance). You can get this information by asking for the prescription, and measurement, after the eye examination.

  • Children’s eye exams in Alberta are covered under Alberta Health Services until they are 18 years old - bring their Alberta Health Services card when you have their eyes checked, for coverage.

  • Visit the website, at www.kits.ca and browse the glasses, sort from lowest to highest price. Then, you’ll find the $8 glasses at the beginning of the list.
