You Can Skate for Free all Winter at these Edmonton Rinks - 2021

Here’s where you can skate for free through the 2021 season in Edmonton

Arena: City of Edmonton Facilities

No wristband required to attend a Free Drop-In Skate time. Participant capacity is capped at 100. Helmets are not required but are highly recommended. Children under the age of 8 must be actively supervised by a responsible person aged 13+. You can view the full schedule for free drop in skating in Edmonton, here.

Arena: Glen Allan Recreation Centre (Sherwood Park)

At Glen Allan, you can skate for free in Sherwood Park at the weekly drop-in, on Sunday afternoon between 2 - 4PM. The weekly free skate courtesy of Strathcona Professional Firefighter/Paramedics is on weekly through March 20, 2022.

Arena: Strathcona Olympiette Centre (Sherwood Park)

Spend the morning on the ice at Strathcona Olympiette Centre, with free skating every Sunday morning between 10:30 AM and 11:30 PM. The weekly free skate in rural Strathcona County is available through the winter months.

Ardrossan Recreation Centre (Sherwood Park)

Spend the morning on the ice at Strathcona Olympiette Centre, with free skating every Sunday afternoon between 1PM - 3PM. The weekly free skate in rural Strathcona County is available through the winter months. Sponsored by Ardrossan Recreation and Agricultural Society.

Arena: Kinix Arena (St. Albert)

Skate for free during the weekly Tim Horton’s Skate at the Kinix Arena, Sunday afternoons 1:45 to 3:15. There is no registration required, families can drop in to skate. Helmets are recommended.
