What to do in Edmonton this Weekend with Kids | August 21-23

Are you taking the second last weekend before the official start of back to school to enjoy the outdoors, and summer weather? Following social distancing recommendations, there is still plenty that you can experience and enjoy with the kids. Family Drive in Movie Night

We will be having a Drive-In Movie Night on Friday, August 21, 2020. It will take place in the SW Parking lot of Town Center mall, across the street from Hope City (MW Campus). We will be showing two movies, Finding Dory at 6 pm and Monster’s University at 8 pm. Arrive early to get your spot!

Family Drop in at the Aviation Museum 

The Alberta Aviation Museum is back in action with the return of Summer Drop-In Programming! Every Saturday and Sunday, families can traverse over 30 aircraft displays in a brand-new social distancing format. There is over 85,000 square feet to explore at our historic WWII air hanger!

Family Farm Picnic at Prairie Gardens

Prairie Gardens’ Family Farm Picnic allows you to enjoy your own private area of the farm as a family – relax in the countryside and enjoy our wide-open spaces! We book a maximum of 10 picnics during each 2-hour designated picnic time to make sure your family has the privacy and space to enjoy yourselves on the farm this summer. Our Family Farm Picnic is designed with lunch for two in mind, but we welcome up to 15 guests per reservation – just add any additional children or adults who would like to attend.
