Christmas events and visits with Santa Claus will look a little different this year. This year, we’ll have to get creative when it comes to experiences though the holidays, and at Rainbow Valley, you can do just that – because this is the first year of Winter Wonder Forest.
As we get into the cooler weather, and we’re doing less of the normal things we would do during the colder weather (like indoor playgrounds and big holiday parties with friends), we’re excited that there are Christmas activities and events in Edmonton that we can look forward to with our kids.
Winter Wonder Forest
Winter Wonder Forest is brand new to Edmonton and will feature 115,000 square feet of lights to drive through and experience. The campground will be transformed into a stunning and breathtaking Holiday light display to look at from the warmth of your own vehicle. This event is a family-friendly, socially distanced event. Fun for everyone and their dog!
You can find the wonder this winter November 27 2020 thru January 3 2021, in a safe, contact-less event to experience a bit of Christmas wonder – from the safety (and the warmth) of your own vehicle.
- Respect physical distancing . Stay 2 meters or 6 feet away.
- Wear a mask when indoor or Social distancing can not be applied.
- Stay home if you are sick.
- Limit touching of shared surfaces.
- Cover your cough/sneeze with your elbow.
- Self-isolate if exposed to sick people or after travel.
On select nights, guests can drive up to Santa! You may not be able to sit with Santa this year but you can still visit with him and tell him what you are wishing for this Christmas! Just drive up to Santa and tell him from a safe distance everything you are looking forward to this holiday season!
