September is here and we’ve put together a list of free, fun, family-friendly things to do with your kids in Edmonton.

  • Take a free tour of the John Walter Museum every Sunday. No registration is required, you can just show up and learn something new about the history of the city.

  • Learn about Urban Farms at the Urban Farm Kids Club, drop-in. This fun program takes place every Saturday until the end of September at Edmonton Urban Farm.

  • Free Tuesdays at Leduc Art Foundry. These free Tuesdays are drop-in, between 4-7pm, for kids to connect with art and artists in the community.

  • Take a Scavenger Hunt through IKEA and end the celebration with a FREE frozen-yogurt ice cream cone. Find the scavenger hunt near Smaland, on the wall near the elevator, and return your completed scavenger hunt to the as-is section for a free cone at IKEA Edmonton.

  • Try Geocaching. Have you tried this treasure hunt through the community? Sometimes there are small toys in the cache that you can exchange for your own, but the glory is in finding, and signing the log for these incredible hunts through the city!

  • In September, kids eat FREE at all locations of Boston Pizza. That’s an easy way to take care of weeknight dinner, on the cheap!
