Alberta Parks Camping Reservations Open January 11, 2022

Alberta Parks camping reservations open for the season January 11, 2022. New this year, the booking service will be a year round service, for camping reservations that can be made up to ninety days in advance, or up to 180-days in advance for group camping.

Hopefully, the change in reservation booking helps to alleviate the volume of booking, and allows more families to experience Alberta parks, and the campgrounds in Alberta.

There have been some slight changes and additions, with the increase in demand for camping. Here’s what you need to know before you make your reservation:

• Beginning in 2022, reservations can be made 90-days in advance for individual and backcountry camping and 180-days in advance for group and comfort camping. The first date when reservations can be made will be 90 days before the campground’s season opening dates. For example if a campground opens on May 1, 2022, the 90 day booking window for individual and backcountry camping will open on January 31.
