Try Something New at Alberta Circus Arts Festival
Come one, come all, from June 20–23, 2024 for the Alberta Circus Arts Festival, hosted by Firefly Theatre and Circus. Join us for four days of Canadian contemporary circus performances, along with free activities for everyone. There are professional development workshops for emerging and established artists, panels and discussions on sector development for industry professionals, and outreach opportunities for all.

Start your Morning with a Giant Slip n Slide
There’s a giant slip n slide coming to Snow Valley in Edmonton and we’re here for the morning of fun. It’s one of those cool experiences that might just be worth being late for school. Edmonton's longest Slip n' Slide is back in time for the first day of summer on Friday, June 21st! Come down from 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. to get in on the fun!

Make a PomPom Butterfly Wreath at Michaels
Michaels’ in-store events are back - it’s a great, free, way to spend an afternoon out creating with a quick, drop-in craft at your local Michaels store. Crafts are rotated seasonally, and in themes. No pre-registration is required for this fun, drop-in craft time but parents do have to remain in the store.

Drive in Movie at Marquis West
Head to Marquis West for a fun day of movies, food trucks, popcorn and treats. This drive in movie features Wonka and starts at 4pm. There are only 160 spots available, plus each ticket will get you a swag item.

Free Drop-in City of Edmonton Play Rangers at Northeast River Valley Park
City of Edmonton Play Rangers returns with a full month of fun, every Saturday in June, at Northeast River Valley Park. This program is designed for children and families to get outside, have fun and enjoy time together.

Explore the Chalk 124th Street Festival
Chalk 124th Street is a brand new way to enjoy the streetscape in the city! To bring the festival into 2024, they’ve partnered with Make Music Edmonton. This year, you can come down to the 124th street area and find more than fifteen chalk creations from local artists, along with live music from local artists.

Edmonton Riverhawks: Drag Me Out to the Ballgame!
Join The Riverhawks for a fierce charity baseball game featuring YEG's top Drag Performers (1:30-3:00 pm), followed by the Pride Party at REMAX Field's outfield patio (3:00-7:00 pm). Drop in Kids Club at the Urban Farm
Edmonton Urban Farm Kids Club runs every Saturday, June 1-September 28, 11-12:30. It is a free, garden-focused drop-in with capacity for 25 young ones. Parents are required to stay on site during the drop-in activity. This week, kids will make a willow trellis.

Soapbox challenges the most fearless, fun-loving and foolhardy teams to prototype and create the wackiest of rides. Up for it? Then prepare to propel your car to the finish line and hope gravity is on your side. Welcome to the pinnacle of non-motor-racing! There are going to be some incredible racers to view!

Take a Drop-in Stilt Walking Workshop
Have you ever wanted to learn how to walk on stilts? Professional artists and instructors from the National Stilt Walkers of Canada will be on hand to show you how it is done! Fun Fact: One of the NSW team got her start at the ACAF in 2022! She volunteered with ACAF, learned to walk on stilts, and now works with the National Stilt Walkers. True Story!

As the kids finish school, this exciting time of year is filled with so many wonderful opportunities to connect as a community and celebrate, as well as support our local food bank. Please participate by bringing a food donation or monetary donation to the Strathcona Food Bank and enjoy an afternoon of smiles, giggles, connections and happy hearts.

Overflowing with good intentions and ambitions, these snowbirds have created a comedic smorgasbord of unusual talents, personal triumphs, and the wonders of the sea, featuring sets and props originating from Florida’s most prestigious flea markets. The GoldenCrusts are where circus, love, and humour meet!
