We’re on the home stretch to summer now! This weekend, we’re suggested get out of town for the once-a-year hot air balloon festival that fills the sky with balloons, and magic! Get out of Town for a Hot Air Balloon Festival
The Rise Up Hot Air Balloon Festival comes to Medicine Hat this weekend and it’s a great time to get out of town! The Balloon Glow event is Saturday night, and one of the best nights of festival. Balloons taking part in the festival are tethered down, and lit up to glow in the sky as you get an up close look at their launch, the balloons, and learn more about the sport from the balloon owners and operators. Plus, there’s a whole evening of fun, family-friendly activities leading up to the glow! Stay the night, get up early the next morning and watch the sunset launch!

Try Something New at the Ice District Food Truck Festival
Oilers Entertaining Group is bringing Tasty Truck 2024 to Ice District. There’s a full weekend planned with family fun, music and food. This is a great chance to get downtown and try a new food truck! While you’re downtown, explore the Downtown Spark Festival and search for the art installation!

THE CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS) is a musical suite of fourteen movements by the French Romantic composer Camille Saint-Saëns (1835–1921).
