Hazeldean Lantern Parade
The Annual Hazeldean Lantern Parade is set for Saturday, January 24th, promising a magical evening that brings the community together through creativity and celebration. The event begins at 5:00 PM at the Hazeldean Community Hall, where participants are invited to decorate their own lanterns using empty milk jugs, pop bottles, or other clear containers.

At CFDE’s Game & Leadership Workshop, your child will develop problem-solving & leadership skills, make new friends in a safe, supportive environment and learn teamwork in ways that feel like play — not work. There are mini competitions, snacks, and fun.

Every Saturday, there are two tour sessions to take part in. Tour 1 runs from 1:00–1:45 pm with a stop at the fire hearth and Medicine Garden, and Tour 2 begins at 2:15 pm. Register in person.

We invite kids ages 6–10 and their families to imagine what kindness means to them by making their own interactive storybook on iPad. They’ll draw, record sounds, add fun 3D shapes and more as they dive into the world of creative storytelling. Devices will be provided.
