Climb the WIBIT in the Pool on the First Saturday of Every Month at Macewan

Experience the magic of scaling the WIBIT obstacle course, and get rid of extra energy on the first weekend of the month. Once a month, you can visit MacEwan Wellness centre for the drop-in swim time that features the WIBIT in the pool.

WHEN: The first Saturday of the month, 2-4 pm
WHERE: MacEwan Wellness, pool

The pool is open to the public and is $24/family, or $5 for children, and $10 for adults to visit. There is no need to register ahead of time, but we would reccomend getting there early to make full use of the two hour time period while the WIBIT is in the pool.

The pool features two main areas, a deeper pool where the WIBIT is set up, a shallow pool with floating toys, balls and boats, and the hot tub (if you didn’t break enough of a sweat scaling the WIBIT). Keep in mind, that the pool is on the colder side, as is the pool deck, so it’s not one of our top choices for babies and toddlers.

In order to climb without a life jacket, children must be able to swim the full length of the pool and tread water. Children that are unable to swim the full length of the pool must wear a life jacket while playing on the WIBIT.

MacEwan Wellness is located at 10800 105 Ave NW, Building 8. Visit www.macewan.ca to learn more.
