Harry Potter Movie Marathon - October 8

It has been a long and strange few months. We think it's about time for another Harry Potter Movie Marathon. A whole generation grew up on Potter and watched with fevered devotion as Harry, Ron and Hermione overcame great odds to grow into incredible wizards and defeat... Oops -- sorry. No spoilers here. Beginning October 8 through November 14, 2020, this is your chance to experience this epic-tale -- for the first time, or all over again.

Reverse Trick or Treating in Griesbach - October 10

Theatre Garage is excited to bring Reverse Trick or Treat to the Griesbach community! This is a FREE family event presented by Theatre Garage in support of The Edmonton Food Bank. This event is October 10th at 430pm-630pm Our volunteers will be decked out in their best Halloween costumes to fill your streets as we parade through your neighbourhood! We will even leave behind candy goodie bags for the wee Halloweeners! Please watch for the street map that will be soon be released so you don’t miss us!

Kids Night Out: Paint a Halloween Plate - October 16 

Drop your school age child off while you go and have dinner or stroll down Whyte Ave .Your child will get to paint a plate bowl and mug for the fantastic price of $38 all inclusive ! Reservations a must!

Spooktacular Halloween Party at The Little Gym

No tricks here – just Halloween Treats! The Little Gym of Edmonton is hosting annual MEMBER ONLY Spooktacular Halloween Party! Join us for an evening filled with Halloween Costumes, Halloween Treats, and Halloween fun! Due to COVID 19, tentatively, a maximum of 10 families (a cohort) is allowed in our facility (8 max in the gym) at one time. We will run a few social distancing game for each cohort (20 min max). We will have photo booth, costume contest, individually packed refreshment, and more. All adults and kids over 2 year old are quired to wear masks at all time.

Spooky Strathcona Haunted Museum and Archives | October 23/24

Explore the haunted village of the Strathcona Museum and Archives. The 20/25 minute tour is a great way to kick off the spooky holiday, where you'll uncover the fate of the local residents on this haunted museum experience.

Halloween Block Party | October 30, 31

Then, at 7PM each day, the outdoor patio will be reset for the adults-only portion. During this time, you can enjoy both live music and DJ sets, cocktails, and of course, checking out everyone else’s costume. Finally, the final hour (11PM-2AM) will have an indoor VIP event, with half capacity enforced.Costumes are encouraged, and you can win prizes for having the best look. But, masks will be mandatory, so start thinking about working that in.

Halloween Adventure at Galaxyland - October 31

Celebrate Halloween with adventurous rides and roaming Galaxyland in your spooky costumes as the lights are dimmed. The food fair of delightful treats with cotton candy, candy apples, & pumpkin spice mini doughnuts awaits! Don't forget to stop by the photobooth to catch every spooky memory!

Halloween Laser Spooktacular Show - October 31

We’re getting into the Halloween spirit with this ghoulish laser show! Gather your cohort, and enjoy this spooky treat at a social distance. Telus World of Science hosts a laser show with performances two days only - October 30, and 31, and tickets are only $7.50.

Virtual Cooking Class: Creepy Cake Pops and Morbid Mergingues 

Halloween is all about Family Fun. So we’ve created this new online class for an engaging Halloween activity for you and your kids. And the results will be spookily delicious! Elysewill walk you through baking a pan of Red Velvet Cake, then crumbling it up to mix with a Vanilla Buttercream to form cake pops that you’ll decorate with her to create your own Creepy Cake Pops to share with your cohort this year!
