Edmonton Playgrounds: The ‘Spinning’ Zipline Playground at Shauna May Seneca School

We’re all for exploring the best playgrounds in the city and we’ve discovered one that you should add to your Edmonton Playgrounds bucket list, right now: The Spinning Zipline Playground at Shauna May Seneca School.

Here’s what you should know before you go:

  • As the playground is located at a school, you’ll want to schedule your visit outside of school hours.

  • Expect to push your children round and round on the Zipline, for the duration of your visit. It’s such a unique piece of equipment, and so fun, that they’re going to want to play on it a lot.

  • The toddler playground adjacent to the main playground is fantastic, and means a high level of playabilty if you’re bringing kids of multiple ages to the playground.

  • There is an accessible swing, and merry go round at the playground, and the base of the playground is covered wood chips.

  • There’s a small pump track for biking, on the left side of the playground.

Getting to Shauna May Seneca School Playground

Shauna May Seneca School playground is located at 2130 Wonnacott Way SW, in the Walker neighbourhood.

Parking is available in the school parking lot (outside of school hours), and on the street adjacent.
