Kickstand OPENS FREE Youth Mental Health CENTRE at West Edmonton Mall
Kickstand is helping young people ages 11-25 in Alberta to find support in the easiest way possible, by providing a variety of services and resources in a single location, as well as online.
What is kickstand connect? Kickstand Connect offers a virtual clinic with trained professionals and a safe space for group sessions, exclusively for young Albertans aged 12-25 and their parents or caregivers. It is a free online portal and mobile app where young people can access virtually both same-day and pre-booked appointments(up to a week in advance)with a mental health professional, peer support worker, employment specialist or participate in group activities and workshops. Based on a single session model, Kickstand Connect offers various same-day and pre-booked services, none of which require a healthcare card, referral, or any form of payment.

In Person assistance. Visit the Kickstand Centre at West Edmonton Mall for assistance with peer support, group sessions, counselling and employment assistant.
Virtual services. There are multiple levels of virtual services available. The virtual clinic provides free, confidential mental health and substance use counselling, peer support and employment services for young Albertans.
