Steamoji STEAM Maker Academy Offers up After-school Coding in Sherwood Park

Steamoji is an after-school STEAM maker academy that trains builders, makers, inventors and entrepreneurs. Newly opened in Sherwood Park, Steamoji is bringing access to valuable steam programming through membership to children aged 5-15. With memberships, camps and special programming - the centre is set to become a staple for STEAM learning for children in Edmonton.

Steamoji Build to Solve and Oji Junior Membership Programs

Through the membership based program, children will visit as part of the monthly membership to work their way through the unique, 400-hour Build to Solve® program deigned for 5-15 year olds. As part of the program, children will learn coding, robotics, 3D printing, digital art and 3D design through missions completed on their subject pathways: Fabrication, Physical Computing, Engineering and Digital Arts. What’s a mission? Click here to learn more about the program, and the Steamoji Missions.

For younger kids, aged 5-6 - who are interested in an introduction to STEAM, there’s even an Oji Junior program. This program, like the Build to Solve membership, includes programming, flexible sessions, included supplies and tools and parental reports.

Memberships include: full access to Steamoji Academy, including all equipment (the Sherwood Park location has an incredible set-up for members, with a full range of innovative tools and supplies), flexible bookings of 60-minutes to accommodate a project with every visit, and a parent app that provides you with updates after each session! You can even register for a free try-it session where your kids can try the after-school program for themselves!

Register for the program as one of the founding members and receive a discount of $50/month on your Steamoji Membership.
