Things to do in Edmonton this Weekend with Kids - July 22-24, 2022

It’s the perfect weekend to try something new! With K-days in town, outdoor movie screenings and even a dive-in movie at a local pool, we’ve got plenty of fun things sto do this weekend in Edmonton with kids.

Friday

Find 10 Days of Fun at K-Days
Celebrate ten days of fun at K-days. There are rides, foods, exhibitions, free concerts and even fireworks. Start planning your festival fun with the kids, right here.

Westwood Summer Festival
Free fun activities for all ages include: caricatures, glitter tattoos, cotton candy, balloon animals, roving puppets and acrobats, and live music! Backyard Block Party
A community Block party for all ages. Over 12 local bands are on stage all day. Giant monster truck bouncy castle for the kids. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chili dogs too. To mark the significance of the journey to reconciliation with the visit from the Pope, the Art Gallery of Alberta is offering free admission on Sunday, July 24 and invites the public to reflect on our truth, history and commitment toward reconciliation. Free admission all day for everyone.

Get Free Admission to K-Days
On Sunday, July 24, 2022, you can show your Edmonton Public Library card at any of the K-Days entrances to gain FREE admission to K-Days grounds. It’s a cheap way to explore K-days, you just need your library card for admission.
