Join the Strathcona Wilderness Centre for an afternoon full of snow fun to celebrate World Snow Day! There are plenty of family friendly activities including snow painting, snow angels, colour ice gems, snow forts, scavenger hunts on skis and snowboards (rentals are available on-site for a fee), hot chocolate and on Saturday, a citizen scientist from University of Alberta’s Ice Core Lab will share their knowledge about snow and climate systems.
