Family Birding Walk at Alfred Savage Centre

Join us for an exciting evening of birding and nature exploration in the Whitemud Ravine! This family-friendly event kicks off at the Alfred Savage Centre, where we'll embark on a guided walk to discover the diverse bird species that inhabit the North Saskatchewan river valley.

On the walk, you'll discover the world of citizen science and learn how apps like Merlin and E-Bird can enhance our birdwatching experiences. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or a curious beginner, this event offers valuable insights (and fun!) for all ages.

Be sure to bring your binoculars if you have a pair handy to get a closer look of our winged friends.
