Christmas at Bob’s
Located at: 7421 108 St.
Yes! Christmas at Bob’s is back for 2023 and we’re more excited than ever. Though this may not be the most ‘lit up’ house in the city, it’s a holiday staple. A classic - a must drive by and pop out for a look around at least once during the holiday season here in Edmonton.

Carducci Christmas Show
Located at: 17616 78 Street
The Carducci Christmas Show is a full-sensory, lights coordinated to holiday music that’ll make you want to dance from your car, like the lights on the house. Don’t forget your donation to Edmonton food bank when you come to discover this bumping wonderland.

Maise’s Christmas House
Located at: 144 Avenue and 97 Street
The magic here is in the sheer volume of Christmas decorations collceted for this masterpiece of a home. There are Christmas lights, yes - but here, you’ll marvel in the decorations that are so lovingly placed, year after year, on every square inch of the outdoor area of this home.

Candy Cane Lane
Located at: 148th Street & 99 Avenue
Visit Candy Cane Lane because it’s the most Edmonton thing you can do. Though there might be categorically ‘better’ Christmas Lights displays scattered around the city, Candy Cane Lane, it’s a tradition - and a tradition that becomes more magical on one of the three ‘walk only nights’ where there are no cars allowed.

moonGarden may not look like a traditional Christmas light up, but it’s still just as magical! These inflated balls that have colors, projections and even sounds are scattered around Churchill Square for the month of December and are pretty magical, if you ask us. We’re a big fan, and suggest that you visit at night at least once!

Wilbert McIntyre Park
Located at: 8331 104 St NW
This smaller park is lit up through the holidays after the light up celebration in November, and it turns into a pretty magical place. Though small, it’s magical, and worth a visit if you’re in the area, or searching for a Hallmark feel park, with the gazebo and twinkling lights.

Summerside Grande Boulevard
Located at: Summerside Grande Boulevard Southwest
This magical walking or driving experience is the neighbourhood’s own Candy Cane Lane! The light up isn’t organized by the community but there are some spectacular houses worth seeing on Summerside Grande Boulevard during the Christmas season.

124th Street Lights
Located at: 124 Street
Walk down the avenue, find a magical park lit with Christmas lights. Grab a cup of hot cocoa and walk down the avenue with it in hand. Look for poetry on the sidewalks, before there is snow, and find magical Christmas lights.

Windermere Tunnel of Light
Located at: Currents of Windermere, 6004 Currents Dr NW
If you want the light up tunnel experience, without the light up tunnel costs, this is a must-stop while you’re shopping in Windermere. Lit up after dark, the small plaza is an adorable holiday light photo destination.

Best Christmas Lights in Sherwood Park

Greenland Garden Centre
Located at: 23108 AB-16, Sherwood Park
For the first year ever, Greenland Garden Centre has an incredible collection of Christmas lights, with a huge, walk-through light tunnel, and it’s completely free to visit. Your kids will love the narwhals and ocean themed lights, and you’ll love the chance to give back with a donation to the food bank in-store. This one is better than any of the indoor lights displays that you’ll pay for in the city - and worth the trip to Sherwood Park. Plus, there’s an incredible selection of ornaments, trees and decorations to look at in-store to warm up when you’ve finished.

Singing LED Tree at Festival Place
Located at: 100 Festival Way, Sherwood Park
If you’re in the neighourhood walking through the lit-up grounds, don’t skip the LED tree at Festival Place that runs at night, as well the morning. You can pop the radio over to 103.3FM and catch a coordinated Christmas lights and sounds show with the popular Christmas tree light.

Festival Place
Located at: 100 Festival Way, Sherwood Park
Festival Place is aglow with gorgeous lights throughout the park. This is the best place to find a Christmas lights walking trail in the city, and even if you’re not searching for somewhere to walk through the lights, it’s worth a drive by to experience the holiday magic.

Clubhouse Drive
Located at: Clubhouse Drive, Sherwood Park
There’s an incredible rainbow arrangement of lights that will catch your eye pretty quickly on Clubhouse Drive. This one just gets better every year, from the giant Christmas tree to many, many holiday light sculptures. This is a must-stop on a tour of Christmas lights in Sherwood Park.

Christmas Lights Displays Outside of Edmonton

(Almost Free) Leduc Country Lights
Located at: Leduc Country, Leduc
Though there is a $2 admission to Visit Leduc Country Lights, we’re going to include this one on our list. This experience is only $2, and kids can walk through the winter wonderland with lights, displays and Christmas holiday magic. The whole family enjoys this annual outing, and you can even bring a sled to tow younger kids along the way!

Make a Trip to the Griswold House
Located at: 63 Briarwood Point, Stony Plain
This one is worth the trip out of town because it’s so, so well done. It’s giving Griswold, and you’ll know it as soon as you see it immediately when you walk up. The details here are incredible, and this house is famous! Don’t forget your food bank donations!

St. Albert Candy Cane Lane, Eliot Place
Located at: Eliot Place, St. Albert
Make a trip to this St. Albert Neighbourfood for their own version of Candy Cane Lane, complete with light arches that you can walk through and enjoy. Make this one a stop on your next adventure because it’s the cutest place to walk around and enjoy a fun little neighbourhood set-up.

Central Park in Spruce Grove
Located at: 450 King St, Spruce Grove, AB
There are more than 250,000 lights used in this display at Central Park in Spruce Grove. Lace up your skates and skate under the lights this holiday season, for a magical experience.
